About The Site
CSS Lounge is a website about developing websites. It’s aimed at all levels, from exisitng, established web developers to people simply interested in starting a personal website. On the site you will find basic articles which discuss the use of web standards and its importance. There are also tutorial or workshop pages which discuss different methods of achieving commonly used site elements, such as navigation and columns.
About The Author
Trevor Morris (trovster) is a twenty-two year old “something”. Currently in limbo, having just finished a degree studying “Internet Product Design” and awaiting job offers. Is addicted to everything web related. Spends far too much time in front of a PC listening to music (punk, ska, screamo, rock, swing and more), playing (stealth) shooter games (FarCry, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon and more). Most of the day is spent tapping away on a trusty keyboard helping people on IRC (#CSS, efnet) and chat on MSN. And of course, working on numerous web development projects including maintaining a personal website.
Powered By…
CSS Lounge is powered by a heavily modified install of WordPress, the extremely popular content management system which is the brainchild of Matt Mullenweg. The output is valid XHTML and CSS (hopefully), all the technologies the web is built upon.
That’s all folks, thanks for stopping by.
